ATI AIW 8500DV TV Out Problem

Good Day, I have a question regarding the TVOUT function on the above card. it displays everything( windows, desktop, etc) but when i go to play any videos or games it does not display on the tv. Just wondering what i could check out.

I have the latest drivers and updated software from ati's site. so any ideas are welcome

*edit* forgot to mention that it is running on windows xp sp1 *end edit*

I had the same prob with my 7000 series...had to uninstall ati's driver and let xp find one for it...worked great after that...apparently there is some issue with using dual moniter out and xp
