ati aiw 128mb doesn't work on kt7

hi, I have the Abit KT7A-RAID and I just bought the ATI All in wonder Radeon 8500 128mb..

I tried it on my girlfriends pc first and it worked...

then when I got home, I tried it on my Abit KT7A
it didn't work.. system just did some wierd beebing..
then when I put my geforce2 back in it works...

so I tried it on my friends PC, also Abit KT7-RAID (no A)
and it didn't work

so I exchange it at the store, because I thought the card was busted for some reason..
I try the new card in my PC, doesn't work again..

so now, I don't know... is there an incompatability between my board the KT7 with all in wonder 128mb?

please, any help at this point, would be much appreciated

Hi,

I have AIW 8500DV, and KX7-333R. It could display in text mode and low resolution, but when I installed the driver, it didn't work once windows was started. I checked the bios and found that the AGP mode was set to 2X, so I set it to 4X, then it works.

The problem I have now is that the screen flickers, on matter how I tweak with the settings. I have an analog LCD and I have to use the DVI to VGA adapter.

I have the KT7, and the problem is it won't even post!!

so I called ATI, and they confirmed my suspicion, there's a compatability issue between Abit KT7 boards and all in wonder 8500!!

does anyone want to buy a brand new, never use all in wonder 128mb?
