Ati agp SM3.0?

A friend of mine is looking for an Ati based video card to replace his dying 9800XT. It'd be nice to get him into a SM 3.0 card.

I found this one... 1600pro 512:

It's not a bad price, but besides the buyer's reviews, I can't find any reviews of it to confirm how it performs, though.

Anyone know of any? Or even have any suggestions to a different AGP card?

i wouldn't bother with a 512 meg version of that card, it doesn't have the raw power to push any game that needs the memory space. get the 256 version for $120 instead

though... i'm not entirely sure that the x1600 pro will be any faster than the 9800xt
