System has only been running a few days. The properties for the adaptor reports this card to be a PCI device. In the advance tap, Smartart, it is set to 4x and not 8x. However, 8x was available for selection. I changed it to 8x and of course it said I had to reboot for this action to occur. Everything seemed OK. After reboot, same thing. Back to 4x. Sandra also reports adaptor as a PCI device.

Checked the bios setting and it was set to APG/PCI. This board is a pro slot board. Can anyone please help. Looking forward to your replys.

Thanks

couple things here...make sure the agp bus is set to 8x in the bios....if its detecting your card as PCI...you need to update your chipset drivers. Had the same problem before. Just go to intels site...and search for your chipset and there should be drivers for it...
