I have an MSI PT880 mother board and a Sapphire 9800 pro r350, Lately it's been running good when I play UT2004, but sometimes it drops me to a blank black/lit screen, and freezes then reboots my computer. Can anyone please help me......

AGP voltage is 1.60 no OC'ing at all....

What brand/model of power supply is powering your rig, and what's the rest of the system? Perhaps it's a power issue  (yeah I know, with me it's ALWAYS the power supply under suspicion first 😀). Or a heat issue? Tried blowing a house fan straight at it yet, to test the effect of additional cooling?

P/S : Linkworld 420w LPG8-43-P4
Motherboard : MSI PT880 LSR
Video : Sapphire 9800 Pro 128mb 256bit rs350
Memory : Geil 1Gb (2x512mb) DDR400 PC3200 2.5-3-3-6
PCI : 56k/fax, SB live!, USB

Motherboard has newest updates for chipset, agp, etc.....(I just got a bad_pool_caller error)

I'm starting to hate ATI cards......

You might try Memtest86 overnight and see how your memory checks out. If you left the memory voltage at Auto in your BIOS, it's due for a bump to 2.7 volts or so.

Geil says 2.60 is what it should be at and thats what the core program that comes with the MSI MB says it's at.

I have the sapphire HSF blowing off from card and also have a side mounted case 120mm fan blowing directly above the video card, the system temp is always around 70f to 80f the CPU temp is never above 110f.

I ran memtest for 5 pass with no errors.....
