ATI 9800 PRO Power connection???

Hi, trying to built a new comp, but I'm pretty noob.
The card needs to be plugged to the power suply. The card has the cable, but it also goes to the hard drive power connector.
Wh? and do I have to do that?

Plus, my hard drive has a sata power connector; but the ati cable doesn't. What should I do?
