What exactly is the difference between the 6800NU and the 6800? I haven't seen a 6800NU anywhere actually...

Also, the 6800LE can be unlocked to the same number of pipelines as 6800Ultra. I've seen plenty of mods for that as well.

Between the 9800Pro and the 6800LE? 6800LE of course.

6800 non ultra (vanilla). or plain old 6800. They typically sell for as low as $150

Anyhow, the 6800le should be faster than the 9800pro, so if you're getting them at the same price, go for the 6800le (I'm assuming they're about as fast as 6600gt's)

To clarify:
6800 = 6800nu = 6800vanilla
These are all the same card that people call different things.

Big whoop, $7:p. Get the 6800LE dude. 9800Pro is the 2 generations old, 6800GT is previous generation.....and the 7800GT is current generation. Stick with the 6800LE, unlock 4 more pipelines (total of 16), and overclock it to GT speeds, all you're all set.

do you know what a 6800le is? it's a 8pipe 4vs card which has a 50% chance to unlock to 12pipe and a small chance of unlocking to full 16pipe.

still, i'd go with 6800le, it's comparable to a 9800xt in performance.

Close enough. I got it mixed up with the regular 6800 then :). Well thanks for the info.

it's a fiarly long card. as long as your case isnt too small(MATX box or something) it'll fit.

here's a comparison. a 9800pro will probably be as fast as a 9800xt oced.

6800le pulls ahead in aa, but ati's 9800 pulls ahead in lower res or no aa or multitexturing fill rate.

leadtek is a good company. imho, i wou;d've saved some money and gone for a 9800pro form the fs/t forums here. I got one for $90 shipped a week ago. seriously, hough, good luck unlocking it, if it unlokcs right, you got a decently fast card, if you are really lucky and unlock to 16pipe/6vs, you got a above average fast card, but if it didnt unlock, a 6600gt wouldve been a lot faster for same price.. the 6800 is a risk buy.
