March 6-12, Best Buy will have the ATI 9600XT 128MB AGP Graphics Card for $130. No rebates involved. That's starting Sunday, March 6, so don't expect to see that price at BB website until tomorrow.

Warm at best. You can get the 9700pro or even the 9800pro, two cards that will blow the 9600XT out of the water, for a few (read: $10 and $40 respectively) bucks more.

I wouldn't consider this much of a deal. You can get it for cheaper (www.pricewatch.com) without being charged tax. I know ZZF has it for $139 w/ free 2nd day shipping and no tax.

Newegg had the OEM for $129.50

Would you like to share where? Pricewatch has the 9700pro at $163 and the 9800pro at $174 ($33 and $44 more respectively, not counting tax...) at no-name shops, and for $197 & $193 from reliable shops...

Thanks

i bought two 9700 pro a few months back @ cc when they had them on clearance for $126
but if people don't think it's hot, then why not let it drop? he didn't have hot or steaming, etc in the title
edit: it may also be like before, when bb has had different cards in the box, with more overclock ability...

Thanks

eBay "But It Now" for the 9700Pro's. As far as the 9800pro... 44 is around 40. :)

not thread crapping, but chefvalue has 9800 pro for $179, free shipping, it should be a better deal.

If I wanted a decent card for 130 bucks + NO tax and don't want to deal with ebay or traders, I'll get the 6200 from newegg. :)

Sorry I dont keep, up but you can get a 6200 AGP from new egg for $120 seems like a close match to 9600XT, even match if you overclock a little, blows away if you unlock it.
still 130 to not bad fo a B&M purchase.

 Personally, I don't see where this is that great of a deal. BB had it for $69 AR during Black Friday of last year. This card is also a last generation card. So if you're in the market for a new video card and are willing to spend around the $130 range, you should definitely hold out for a Nvidia 6600 or ATI X700 video card. It just make more sense to me financially.

That link you gave is for a Rosewill 9800PRO. Never heard of Rosewill. Price sounds good but I'll take a pass on that. If I'm going to fork out $$ for a vid card, I want to get one from a manufacturer I (or someone I know) has heard of. Thx anyways.

Sapphire 9800SE @ Newegg $127.00

I bought two and both softmodded without artifacts. Better than even gamble. The ATI 9600XT 128MB AGP Graphics Card for $130 is a fine VC. For my $130 the chance to get 9800 Pro performance makes buying the Sapphire a better deal.

Rosewill is Newegg's house brand. Meaning it's an ATI reference board with newegg's name on the box. :)
