ATI 9600 Pro updated drivers for laptops? Is there one?

I just purchased a Emachine M6805. I just did a clean install of XP pro and I am going through now step by step to put the drivers in clean and careful like. I was wondering if there is any updates for the mobile 9600pro chips. ATI recommends you go to the manufactors website and Emachine has nothing there that I can see. Any help or ideas would be great , thanks.

I've heard you can install the Omega version of the regular Catalyst drivers on laptops if your manufacturer is lagging behind in getting a customized version ready. YMMV.

The omega drivers work just fine for the 6805.
