Ati 9500 which ones can it be softmod?

There seem to be way to many configurations of the 9500
Pro L shape memory
Non pro L shape memory
Pro Not L shape memory
Non pro Not L shape memory
Sapphire
ATI
Red PCB
Black PCB
Green PCB
Basically one big pain in the ?

Which ones can be run in 9700 mode and which ones can't ?

It was the L-shaped memory one that could be. modded to a 9700 supposedly reenabled all the memory pipelines

Only certain 128MB non-pro 9500s can be modded. Old Sapphire, Connect 3D, Powercolor, Powermagic cards have some chance. Use Google. The moddables I saw were all red and L-shaped.

Just remember that even if you have one that can be modded that about %50 will have artifacts/checkerboard visual problems, and therefore considered not moddable, even though all the pipes have been enabled.
