ATI 9000 Pro

Does this card overclock? Has anyone used this card and overclocked it? How does it perform when it overclocks? I have a friend who wants to get a new card for cheap. Originally, I told him to get ti4600 and overclock it. Now I find out that the 9000 pro is supposed to perform like the ti4600 (I assume better at AA, etc), but I do not know anything about this card.

The card Anand tested oc'd from 270/275 to 300/315.
Here is what he had to say:

The 11% boost in core speed helps a bit but it still prevents the Radeon 9000 Pro from surpassing the GeForce4 Ti 4200, but in terms of doing its job of competing with the GeForce4 MX, an overclocked Radeon 9000 Pro does it all that much better.

KingofFah you are VERY mis-informed.

Rad9000pro is SLOWER and INFERIOR to Rad8500LE! GF4TI4200 is by far the best card to go for at the mo. It gives better than Rad8500 and GF3TI500 perf. When this baby o/c's it reaches GF4TI4400 or GF4TI4600 speeds, fantastic for $130-150 (64MB-128MB). GF4TI cards are very fast, have great image quality, AA, Aniso, drivers, dual monitor support and take great boosts from every mhz of CPU power ... certainly the best all-rounders unless you can afford the Rad9700 for near $400 WHEN it is available. Whatever card you buy get a 128MB as 64MB will begin to hurt you pretty bad and only saves you $20 anyway. What CPU is this gfx card going to sit with?
