ATI 8500DV versus $100 Video Card

Hi,
I got a pretty good deal on an 8500DV (~$120). I'm not sure if I'm going to keep it or try to get a better "gaming card". What would be an equilivalent gaming card to the ATI 8500DV? Are the Geforce 4 cards much better than my model? I am just wondering what card will be better for overall use and specifically for gaming? Also, will I notice much of a difference if I only spend up to $120 on gaming card compared to the ATI 8500dv?

IIRC, the 8500DV is clocked lower and is slower than an 8500LE, at something like 250/380 (compared to the 8500LE's 250/500). That should place it between a Radeon 7500 and 8500LE in terms of performance. And since the Ti4200 is usually faster than a retail 8500 (275/550), I think you would notice a difference in gaming performance between the 4200 and the 8500DV.
