I have an ATI 8500 that's still under warranty.. but the only problem I have with it is the damn heat sink came off. I'm wondering what the best thermal compound to use would be that ALSO will secure the heat sink to the GPU. I was just going to use the crystal orb that was on my old GeForce2... but there aren't any holes in the PCB to secure the HSF on the damn thing. RawR...
Anyway.. I've got a GeForce4 TI4200 too that I just got the most updated drivers for (40.40 or something I think) and all the stuff I've got that's supposed to push the refresh rate up for games etc that I play doesn't work with these drivers. Does anyone know where I might find a utility that can get rid of the horrid 60 fps in every game? thx
