ATI 8500 - Drivers had what disabled in shipping?

I heard that the drivers didn't support some bragged upon features when the card started selling, are they fixed now, and what were they?
 
That's the SmoothVision feature to round out jegged edges, like the arms of a model in CS. I don't know if it's been enabled in the new drivers, though.
