I just bought a Hercules 3D prophet (Radeon 8500 / 128 meg) and have installed it into my Tri Boot (98SE/2000 Pro/Xp Pro) system.
Well it works just fine in XP, but I can't get it to install correctly in my 98SE OS.
I get one error after another!!
It looks like (at this point) it may be a IRQ conflict, but I really don't know.
I've been messing with this most of the day.....
Has anyone else had problems with one of these in 98SE?
If so, how did you work it out?
I haven't tried it in 2000 Pro yet, but I forsee no trouble as it "took" in XP with no problems.
