ATI 7000 is making me sea sick!!

I just installed a new ATI 7000, it my first experience with ATI cards and so far not so good.

The screen was shaky and vibrating, I changed the Hertz from 85 (which the monitor supports) to 60 and now have a slow motion wave or roll if you prefer going from top to bottom of screen. It's enough to make you sea sick!

Any one have any suggestions for a fix?

ATI tech support is more than lacking and to call them is a $1.25 a min which is completely insane!
