Built a little HTPC thing with my kids here. Anyone have any ideas why a brand new video card, ATI 6450 (1 Gig) won't recognize the native resolution of my Asus 23" (Asus VS238) monitor? I've run into this before, but I don't recall what I did. The highest resolution available with the newest Catalyst drivers is 1920 x 1080. But I have a 1" Black bar around my desktop that is really annoying. Not sure whether I try to force it or keep trying drivers, etc. I've now tried 2 drivers and I'm getting the same thing. Any thoughts?

You probably have attached it with hdmi and for default ati's drivers do underscan. Go scaling options and set underscan to 0%.

That did it. I appreciate that, thank you. Resolution says the same. I swear native was different. Guess I'm losing it.
