They work well with my AIW 7500, I don't know about the HPB, but OpenGL is noticeably improved. Since they don't include WDM drivers, they can't be considered a complete set actually;), but they are nice. I matched 'em up with the 5115 WDM drivers from the 6025 set for VIVO features and the combination seems OK so far.

UPDATE: Tazdevil is right, the 2nd leak set contains WDM drivers and are working very nicely. Theater mode works now (nice feature) with overscan enabled...nice

Better 2D and OGL performance has also increased. I wouldn't say it's the holy grail, but it is an improvement. FYI, there is a second rev of the 6043's out there.

:) :) :)

I just installed these drivers (after removing the old ones and cleaning out the registry) AND THEY WORK GREAT! I got my fastest 3D Mark 2001se score EVER at 8008!!! And the problems I was having with the advanced pixel shader getting an error are HISTORY! THESE DRIVERS ARE AWESOME!

I am MEGA glad I chose to get a Radeon 8500 now!!!!

BOOYA

I use WinDVD 3.0 with these drivers and DVDs play fine. I have the hardware box checked in Windvd, however I have a 1.4 ghz athlon, so I wouldn't need hardware accn anyways.

The HPB is corrected for some things in the drivers, others aren't. Performance seems to be better in all games. These are by far the best Radeon drivers out currently, but they still have stuff to be improved on, so I say the Holy Grail has yet to come.

Yes, these drivers are fine for DVD playback, except to play them in PowerDVD you will need to disable hardware acceleration in the PowerDVD options. No problems with the ATI player at all.
