ATI 5870 Eyefinity Edition delayed to end of March?

They are probably going to launch this along with the 5890 and probably a 6 screen version of the 5890 the day that Fermi launches. At least that's what I would do if I were them.

Very likely moved to counter Fermi launch; but I think allowing board partners to do as they wish with 5870 board designs, and these 2GB 5870's are ATI's counters. It's not likely there's a 5890 in the halls yet. Board partners wouldn't be investing in 5870 redesigns if so?

Its going to be interesting to see what happens when the GTX 400 series releases. nVidia needs to do something big or ATI is going to keep whooping up on them. Whatever happens I hope it forces prices lower on existing ATI & nVidia cards.
