ATI 4850 for $100+ is that good?

just need a basic not too bad card for a little gaming during free time... price I thought was really good considering it was like $170 not too long ago.... $110 after rebate from live.com, after rebate, discovercard

if you're saying that you can get a 4850 for 100-110 then I would highly recommend that. The best that I've seen is $130 AR shipped. 4850 is this generation's 8800gt.

i ordered a asus 4850 for 119 AR off the egg a few days ago, i didn't find it in the Hot Deals or black friday section but it is the lowest I've seen

Newegg (Black Friday) has a SAPPHIRE 100259L Radeon HD 4870 512MB $185 shipped after rebate's.

Think imma hold off another two weeks on a 260 to see if they drop.

Wow. The 4850 was a great deal at $170 when I picked it up (a day after it was released). For $110, you can't really beat it for what you want to use it for. That being said, what are the specs of the rest of your system?
