ATI 4850 Clone Mode w/ HDMI + Component

Hi,

I would like to use clone mode on my 4850 to get HDMI (video+audio) out to my receiver then to my 1080p LCD TV. At the same time I would like to do component out to a switchbox that will go to a 720p projector (though it accepts a 1080p signal...at least from HDMI not sure about component).

I know I can do clone mode with HDMI + Component, but will I be stuck with 1080i resolution for both? Can I do 1080p on HDMI and 1080i/720p on Component? If this is the case, I imagine using extended desktop would work? However I want the same picture to be displayed on both outputs.

Anyone able to help? Thanks
