Excellent find, very interesting. Crossfire's scaling in some applications is flat out amazing. Other times it's completely capped. I'm tempted to point the finger at memory bandwidth limitations, especially where the 4870X2 pulls much further ahead of two 4770's. Still, the 4770 is an awesome bang-for-your-buck card.

Huh, no scaling at all past 2 GPUs in Warhead. Could that be a driver issue? The 4870 scaled all the way to 4 GPUs in AT's benchmarks.

edit: hm, it scales a little bit in 25x16 without AA. But barely.

P.S. I didn't know four single cards could be cross-fired. That is the first time I saw that.

Too bad the scaling (past two GPUs) looked non-existent in Crysis. Maybe a memory or driver issue?
