ATI 32M XPERT 2000 PRO video problems

hi, i bought the ATI AGP XPERT 2000 today and i put it on my Gigabyte GA-7ZXR board with AMD DURON 800 CPU. i have 128 pc133 ram. i isntalled the card on winme and everythign was installed and working fine when it came to the tests. but when i tried to run a game or soemthing the system would freeze. and it would always freeze when i tried to run any game. i was wondering what setting should my motherboard be at if that is the problem to begin with. please letme know, i am not that smart with computers so please be easy on me ;]
