ATI 3.10 VS OMEGA 2504 VS DNA 9.3.10a

I found this at driverheaven.
It's a good comparison of the most current drivers regarding many issues such as performance, stability etc.
I thought you might find it useful 😉

That review isnt credable.

The moderator of driver heaven is the creator of the omega drivers, and the guy who did the review of those drivers is personal friends with omega. On top of that the maker of the dna drivers and the creator of that review have alot of hostility between eachother so its not a very trustworthy review.

It doesn't only beat DNA drivers but official as well.
As for the creditability of the source, I would agree with you since driverheaven are the major supporters of these drivers with active support. BUT this doesn't nessecarily mean that this test isn't not good or useful. I myself have tested on my system Omega and official and I totally agree with these results.

Here is a quote from Terry Makedon when he was interviewed by a German Magazine:

"ATI supports the enthusiast community wholly. Omega Drivers are in fact a good example of ATI?s user community at its best. What they are in principle are CATALYST drivers with different settings enabled via registry keys and other such methods. This provides users an alternative to ATI?s CATALYST default settings. While there are a few different modification drivers out in the community our relationship with the creator of the Omega Drivers is of the highest working standard. The author of these drivers is part of the CATALYST beta driver testing team, and also in direct contact with ATI. In fact we would go so far as to say that if a user chooses to go the mod driver route, they go with the Omega Drivers."

I have tested them to, omegas cats and dna. Really theres very little difference between them, omegas are a tiny bit faster by a frame or two in most games, but the Dna's excell at deus ex 2 without losing IQ. When i switched from the omegas to dna i got a 33% fps boost so they are certainly not bad drivers, no matter how badly driver heaven wants everyone to believe that.

I can't argue with you since I haven't testsed deus ex 2 with DNA. My only problem with DNA is the stability issue, that
I faced myself sometimes when I had them installed.
Omega's are by far the best drivers I have installed though.
Good performance, exceptional stability, nice image quality and a variety of extra features installed with the drivers.
