I was about to RMA my motherboard capacitors because of this...turns out it could be the video card as well. To finalize this I am going to switch my video card to pci-e slot 2 and remove the other components in the pci slot and see if the sound moves. If so, its the card, if not, it's mobo capacitors. I'll post back with an update.

Also, I have a hard time believing this is power related, especially when looking at the thread over on rage3d. I have a seasonic S12 600W PSU and am having this same issue during bench marks in 3dmark05. It's the card. I don't know whether to RMA it or just go with it, as it seems to be a fairly normal occurence. I am still going to check and make sure it isn't my motherboard by switching slots, I'll post back an update.
