Hi

MY Wife went to comp usa to see if they had an 800xt all in wonder, they didn't so
she got me a 1650 Pro, she gave it to me tonight Merry Christms, it's so I can run dual dvi lcd. I open the box and it has a vga and dvi connector , the comp site says 2x dvi
and I searched google and found pict and they show dual dvi. Here is a pict of what is in the box, and wondering what card it is. http://www.autoclinic.net/ati1650.jpg

Thanks

Pete

I am going to return it tomorrow because I want dual dvi, I got a 9700 all in wonder but it's only single DVI one display.

Do you need a dual-link DVI port or two DVI ports? There is a difference. Also, you have the AGP card and I do believe most google results will give you the PCIe version which may have two DVI ports. I know on ATI's site however the picture they are showing For the X1650 Pro is actually a reference design PCIe X1600 XT --which is misleading.

Hi Dual Dvi ports, all the images I find for 1650 pro show 2 dvi ports. The Ati web site don't show the actual card. What is dual link? Sorry I'm kinda of dated, I have 5 PC Mine, wife, 2 kids and work all have all in wonders, radeon, 7500, 2 8500, 9700 and have one 128 in a box.

Thanks

Pete

There are various flavors of the X1650 Pro: some with dual-dvi, some with vga+dvi, like yours, some with DDR2 memory @ 800 Mhz (probably like yours) and some with DDR3 memory @ + or - 1400 Mhz.

Dual-link DVI is something else, basically for very high resolutions. Read This

If the card is not what you wanted, your best bet might be to return it for refund or exchange for what you want. You can start your search for a replacement Here

Ya, she is going to return it. the compusa web site is missleading, it just says ports and all the is listed is 2x dvi-i .

I'll just order what I want from the Egg, just trying to get it done before christmas,so it will be next week. oh well.

Every year the local's wonder why their sales are less and less.

Thanks

Pete
