Interesting find Jay. Digit-Life had a great article with benchmarks of the Geforce 3ti200 and Radeon 8500 with 128mb of RAM, and I believe they came to the conclusion that the extra 64 mb of RAM don't really help out in the performance too much because:

<< All 128 MBytes cards are not useful much as there are no applications which would require such a size for acceleration of texturing. >>

Here is the link to the article Link

Oh, I didn't realize such cards even existed.
I will say this, if you search around the website
it is very vague and has a bogus feel to it.
Almost no information that would be useful
in purchasing one. Thanks for the info though.

Yah I don't know if it'd really help. I heard that the 128mb cards were gonna have SDR, which would definitely be useless, but appearantly these have DDR?

Look at say a 32mb GF2 GTS, then a 64mb one. When they came out, there was a very small difference in performance. I'm not sure if that has changed much, because most benchmarks now are the 64mb I assume.

Try turning on all the features and cranking up AA. AA will make use of the extra memory.

This is true to some extent. A GF2 with 64mb of mem outperforms a 32mb GF2 in higher resolutions, albeit a 3 fps difference. But what I want to know is, would the GPU become a bottle-neck to the mem in such a set-up?. I really dont think any current GPU is powerfull enough to utilize 128mb of DDR mem.
