when i first got my 800 thunderbird i did the pencil trick and i could set the multiplier to anything and it would post but know the only thing i can do is set it to 8.5 and up the fsb. I repenciled but it still won't go past 8.5. Any Ideas?
 
Clean off pencil and use a defogger kit or conductive pen to recross bridges. Similar problem here, resolved, Duron 600 @ 877 stable.
 
I have had the same problem with a duron. An A7V only allows a .5x oc when it did allow more before. It has had me baffled for some time now.
 
you dont need a pencil just buy a rear window defogger kit and use a small paintbrush to paint the bridges shut. It works everytime and is much better than pencil. When you go to paint it on just use a model airplane brush and take most of the hairs off so you can paint it on very thin.
Its easy and if its not perfectly straight its ok as long as they are not touchin each other.
