AthlonXP 1700 do these o/c well

Hi..I doubt I will try to unlock the cpu as it sounds to be a PITA...if I can get a mobo that will do 150 fsb is it likely these will hit 1650....11x 150 or is this unrealistic

I am considering an Epox 8KHA+ vs Abit KR7A-RAID

150 FSB should be no probs...just check around here. Ppl r doing like 155-160 FSB !

For 150 FSB, both mobo should be just fine. I favoured Epox thou.

I unlocked my 1900 xp and yes it was a total pain in the ars.
I used a shaved toothpick with a magnifying glass
I used nail polish to fill the gaps and then defogger fluid to bridge it.
If it didn't sucseed on the first attempt I woudn't have done it again.
Happily unlocked now, but I am with you, if you mess up , it's shot
