I know the XP's support SSE and maybe i'm retarded but I also thought they supported SSE2 or is that just an Intel P4 thing?

Just wondering, since SSE2 says unsupported in WCPUID

Yep. Only P4's have SSE2 instructions. I'm sure when applications coded with SSE2 optimizations or popular applications (that intel is currently funding to be optimized) be recoded to make use of the P4's new instruction set, AMD will soon follow suit and incorperate SSE2 instructions with their new processors.

Yup, it's only the P4 that has SSE2. Athlon XP "only" supports MMX, 3dNow! (which the P4 don't for obvious reasons) and SSE.
The SledgeHammer (and thus ClawHammer) will support SSE2 I think.
