Athlon64's rough performance advantages over P4?

It looks like from this (report a little dated) that the Athlon64 has a ~10-15% speed advantage over "similar" P4 chips in most cases, before overclocking. Sound about right, assuming maybe an nForce3 vs 915P chipset?

Also, from what I understand the 90nm Athlons run somewhat cooler and need less juice than the P4s? Any other broad strokes I may have missed?
