Athlon64 Dual Channel problem

my system config:
Athlon64 3200+ (939)
Gigabyte K8NS Ultra-939
Samsung DDR400 256MB x2
...

I want to ask if I add 2 sticks of 512MB later (i.e. total 256x2 + 512x2),
will my system still able to run Dual Channel mode at DDR400?

By default you'll go down to DDR333 as per JEDEC specification, but you can run it out of spec if you want. Just remember that using 4 sticks of RAM is going to make you use a 2T command rate, and on A64s you really want to try to run 1T.
