Athlon64 - bent CPU pins?

Okay, so I acquired a new athlon64 CPU but some of the pins were bent, so I unbent them and mounted the CPU, could this complicate the stability of my system, i.e. should I be sending the processor back?
 
No. Its advisable if they break off, but not if you manage to fix it. Unless you really want to wait longer for another new CPU.
 
it shouldn't affect stability, unless the pins were like half broken off, in which if you pull the cpu out, the pins would get stuck in the socket.
