After several tries, finally the CPU and RAMs are both running 1:1 at 233.33MHz

BTW the CPU's a Newcastle.

See if when you use a ratio, the cpu will go higher. For A64, cpu clock speed is much more important than 1:1 ram ratio. So if you can get past 2.6ghz, i'd switch to a ram ratio.

Yeah, I tried, but it's kind of odd, because the highest this CPU will reach when using the ratio is 2.585GHz,

So maybe I'm just lucky that these value RAMs could actually reach 233.33MHz with 1T setting to boot.

they're memtest86+ stable?

good God why does everyone forget to mention stability tests when they brag?

hy, i've got my 3500+ winch 90nn @ 2.6 stable, 2gb Kingston value ram 400@333.. i could get to 2.65 that crashes on doom3, and 2.7 to print screen...
