Well, the AMD Athlon64 3000+ looks like the best thing since sliced bread,
based on its un-overclocked results:

The real question to me now is the overclocking situation, which seems very
confused. If you could get this chip to 2.3ghz or even 2.4ghz reliably it
should beat even heavily overclocked Bartons, but as it is my $45 1700+
@2.3ghz probably competes pretty well with it, not to mention those 1ghz fsb
