Athlon64 2800 or P4 2.8 for running Cakewalk Sonar?

Which would run that application better? The P4 is an 800FSB with HT. The A64 is a 754.

I'm not sure which would run a mulittrack sequencer better....a proc with a shorter pipe and integrated memory controller or a proc with hyperthreading and dual channel.

Get the Athlon 64 2800, as there is almost no programs(even the ones p4s are good at) that a 2.8 could beat a 2800.

I already have both. I'm just trying to decide which will run which apps.
