o/c'rs, + or -,usually equate to gamers

This is the CPU/Processors AND Overclocking forum. You can interpret this however you wish, but it seems like you can discuss processors that aren't overclocked here, too. I don't see a "Non-overclocked CPU forum" anywhere.

Thank you all for your wonderful pr rating of
your Athlon System.
I take it that I am not biased with either of them
Which would I buy in the future duron or celeron?
I don't really know because I may never need one.
I'm just a poor man and I have limited budget and everytime
I spend money into this just for the fun of it, it just doesn't make much sense know what I mean?
It does what I need for now, until it become too slow then I have a good reason to upgrade it again maybe a few year later in the future eh?
Having problem with money right now dude
If you don't need something then don't buy it know what I mean
even thought you see it and you like it.

I am offering Hyper99 a real cpu, a 386. thats to make you happy, it honestly runs at its rated speed, 33 mhz, has a math co processor, the pr rating I don't give a crap about, doubt sandra would even run it. Runs DOS and RC5 quite nicely, only bench mark that matters anyway!

save all your coinage for a athlon or equivelant,
then you will not be so inundated by old tech holding you back so much,
the figures most post, are quite capabale if you spend a little time writing down the advice given.
most of these oc'rs here are a knowledgeble group(hhhmmm, typo)
then, happy, you will be a truely happy again:)
but,it all boils down to the speed question,
and it really applied in my field first,
how fast ya wanna go?=how much $ ya got?
Speed does cost a bit, faster you go,more coin it takes to keep it there.
