Hello,

I have just received my order from Newegg that I placed two days ago (Thank you Newegg) and I was wondering if the multipliers on an Athlon Xp 2400+ would be unlocked in a desktop board.

I will be using the Shuttle AN35N Nforce 2 Based Motherbaord.

Thanks
Phil

Is that not one of the reasons you ordered it? Anyway, yes, but with your board, it will only be unlocked up to, and including, 12.5x. Of course, that's high enough for all of us. As long as you have PC3200 ram, you're set.:D If you don't, you're gonna have to buy either an Abit NF7-S or an Asus A7N8X-Deluxe, because they have the 5-bit whatever it's called that allows setting of any multi, up to 24x.
