My 1800+ t-bred is @ 2.3ghz (11.5x200) with dual channel ddr 400(gotta love samsung pc2100 that can run @ ddr400!) on an nforce 2. Is this equivalent to a barton 3200+ in terms of performance?

No, a 2300mhz T-bred is the equivalent in speed of a Barton@11x200. Some site did tests that showed exactly that, but I can't seem to find it right now. Maybe someone saved the link?

yes it is add 100mhz to T-bred = barton in performence

wow so I have a $50 XP1700Tbred@2.3 that is equal to a $200 3200 Barton, and a $218 Intel 3.0C mine benches dead even with the 3.0 intel with sandra 04 😀

Naruto, the 100MHz theory is about right. The difference in cache makes enough of a difference that you would see slight differences between a Barton and a non Barton. Not enough to go out and buy a 2500+ and run it at 3200+, though 🙂
