I am looking for a good motherboard to support my new Athlon XP 2100+ processor and 256MB DDR333 RAM. I really am only using this second box for general use as my main system has plenty enough power to suit me alright. I was looking at the Epox 8K5A3+ or the Gigabyte 7VAXP boards as newegg has both of them for 89.00 with free shipping. What would be the most stable, not looking for incredible overclocking, and give me some descent features like USB 2.0, good onboard audio and onboard LAN. Thanks.

EPoX 8RDA+ might be worth a look if you're open to nForce2. Fast, great onboard sound, onboard LAN, onboard USB 2.0 natively, not too outlandishly priced, and has a lot of OC potential. There is grounds for believing it will support all future SocketA CPUs including Bartons with both 333MHz and 400MHz bus speeds, too. Or wait for the 8RGA+, which will have onboard GF4MX video with dual outputs. $105 + S/H at mwave.com for the 8RDA+ (out of stock right now, however). EPoX nForce2 goodness and MWave's EPoX selection

Just don't let your P4 rig see you cheating on it... ;)
