I have my system running Prime95 while I am at work...currently it's running at 2.75GHz or 210x13 @ 1.925v and it was 31C when I left this evening...by the time I get back it will have ran for 9+ hours...hopefully it hasn't crapped out...

By the way, this on air...the water-cooling should be here next week...

Edit: Prime95 was still kicking after 9 hours and 13 minutes...all is well...now for the game tests...

Good luck! What stepping and what water cooler are you gettin?

I can't recall the exact stepping...I got the CPU from excaliberpc.com a few weeks back so it was IQYHA something...I'll check when I install the water-cooling set up...which is an Exos-Al with the CPU-300-H06 waterblock and the GPU-180-L06 waterblock...

Gotta love those cpus. I got my 2600+ mobile a few weeks ago, spent a few hours drawing up a graph of speeds vs voltages, but the best I could get it to run prime95 was 2688@1.9v. Didn't make a difference up to 2 volts, and I didn't push it further than that for lack of cooling. Not sure what stepping mine is, but it's also on an 8RDA3+ (v2.0) with 512 megs of cheap ram, with an SLK-900A and a 92mm tornado. Right now it's running great at 2400@1.575v, with the fan on 7 volts (dead quiet, unlike the hairdryer sound at 12v), idling at 39 C in a pretty warm room.

Yeah, they are great...stable @ 2.75GHz would be me plenty of reason to hold off upgrading to an A64 set-up any time soon...hell, I know it's stable at 2.6GHz and that also gives me more than enough reason...

31C? At that speeds and voltage?
I think you've got a broken sensor, or you were smoking something when you checked it...
I get around 31C idle if I'm running the thing at 1000mhz with 1.4v, so...
I'm sorry...not trying to discredit you, because I'm sure you've reached those speeds, but I just can't find your temps credible.

It's called an AC unit about 6 inches away from the box...the temperatures are accurate...I reach about 40C load...

I've never had a AMD cpu personally, but that is one hell of a price/performance ratio.

Also, your using 1.9V on BIOS right ?
And 31C seems low...

I don't think it's actually 35 degrees if that's your load temp... Also, is that 2.016 volts you're putting through the CPU?

Awesome! The AX NC's can beat it but they cost $175.

You're running 2-2-2 arnt ya? Mine is a full 800 pts less at same speed....I'm already on water.

That is the VDD voltage...not the VCore...and you're right...that isn't the volt temperature...that's what it was like when I came home and after I ran the Sandra tests...

so what is your running temperature and what heatsink are you using? And a question about your cpu voltage, why is cpu-z reporting it's at 2.016 volts? I'm thinking something is up with your motherboard
