Hello
i just ordered an XP 2800+ to go on my Abit NF-7 Board
I would like to know what the core speed of the 2800+ is? like 2.2ghz?

Also is this a very overclockable chip at all?

thanks

2.08 GHz for the 2800+ Barton. It's very overclockable, depending on your board, tho the Abit is a nice board and should do fine. I've seen people get it up to 2.43GHz with decent cooling.

That's pretty much impossible with the new ones, they are multiplier-locked, and have too high of a stock multiplier.

Not sure what you mean by that. A locked Barton 2800+ @ 2.43GHZ would be running on a 195FSB.
Should work if you got a good chip and decent cooling.
