Has anyone had any success overclocking an Athlon XP 2400+.
The Numbers on the CPU are AXDA2400DKV3C / Y886094260012 / AIXIB0337RPMW

I thought I was the XXXit with mine which I got to 2.5 stable, 2.3 something boot into windows. I hear that if you can get over 2.3 on these then you can keep going with some headroom. I was using a via mobo and cheap pc2700 though.

Good luck; I'll track your threads and if you do well I might pop this into an nforce2 board (instead of the 1700tbred b I've got coming) and see what it does.

Its in a GA-7ZXE with a KT133A chipset
RAM is Micron/Crucial PC133
So I don't think it will go that high
Although the XP2000+ that was in it did 2.2Ghz

yeah don't rub it in hahahaha

yeah it was a subzero pelt/water cooling setup
but the high clock speed itself wasn't the main thrill
the fact that i did it on a kt133 motherboard was what really made me proud for the few weeks that the chip lasted
