Ok guys, I have the Leadtek WinFast K7NCR18D-PRO mobo with an Athlon XP 2100+. First off I didnt get a 2600+ because Muuula is out of reach at this moment. Here is my weirdness

The Athlon XP 2100+ is supposed to come in clocked at 1.74Ghz
The one I have is 1.8Ghz, according to the Winfast OC Utility, Spead Gear II they call it.
Im running 133Mghz FSB
I have PC2100 Ram, which is operatin at normal peram.

A) Do Athlon XP Cpu's come in clocked variably?
B) If in fact its 1.8Ghz do you suggest I just bump of the FSB 2-3Mghz to get that extra 33Mghz in?

Thanks a lot!

See ya around, and 4 those of you going to AMDXPP in H-Town See ya there!!!!

Download WCPUID and then check what your real true speed is. Then report back here.

Poo, it shows 1740? But the WinFast mobo monitor (mighty cool oc software btw) still shows 1796, yea I agree it is usin 13.5 multiplyer...but hmm...still weird. See im wondering whether I should OC this baby or not. According to a few articles Multiplyer unlockin is hell for the 2100, but FSB still works, Ill try just like 3-4Mghz on the FSB.

From what I hear, the Palomino's don't overclock well, especially a XP2100, I only got about 66 Mhz out of mine from the FSB and haven't unlocked the L1... if your's is a T-Bred, I believe you should be able to overclock it.
