Athlon XP 2000+ --- Confused about diff packaging.

well here is how it is. I orderd a 2000+ from googlegear a while back. When I got it the CPU was a redish color. I just got in another from newegg and its green.

Now I know about throughbread and palmino but I am leaving all of that stuff out becuase I was wondering if some one would tell me whats the order and stuff. I just want a short history of the chips.

ones an organic one not i got that with a 1800+ same stepping too. Im not sure which is which

both are organic, just different colours.

you should look at some of Anand's articles. He mentioned it in one of them, I think it was the first thoughroughbred (the 2100+?)

I found the artical, they just changed dies for the newer chips.
