Athlon XP 2000+ and chipsets

Is an Athlon XP 2000+ with an Azza Via-KT-266A 266 Mhz FSB UDMA-100 DDR Main Board (k7-ddr) ok? Someone told me Via chipsets had problems. Is this true or is this fine?

Honestly,

Most of the folks who have not had experience setting up the drivers for an Athlon build have problems. If you have set up one or two, there are no problems REALLY associated with just the chipset.

there are a couple tiny known issues, but when the latest VIA 4in1's are installed, along with all the other up-to-date drivers, everything should run peachy. i honestly don't understand why people complain about too much setup and time installing drivers for AMD rigs... install the VIA drivers like i always installed the Intel INF drivers on 815 boards.. it's just like any other drivers... I have 2 VIA based comps. in my house, and they run nothing short of perfectly..
