Hey guys,

I finally got this new box up and running..

I currently have it running @ 11.5x150 fsb @ 1.85v

Is this voltage too high?

According to motherboard monitor, the temp is around 35*c @ idle and running prime95 it's about 40*c.....This is with an Alpha 8045 HS w/ an 80mm sunon fan..

Prime95 had errors if i didn't bump up the voltage....Is this voltage too high? What kinda voltage can I safely run on this processor?

Thanks guys!

Personally, I do not like to exceed 1.90V on good air cooling. (which you have) With watercooling, 1.95V.

In general, 10% is a good indicator as to how much the voltage should be raised. Using that formula, 1.925v is the answer I get.

Thanks guys...

According to MBM5, the core voltage is about 1.87.......Varying between 1.87-189

I have the DIMM voltage to +0.20v in the bios....is that bad? Cas on the ram is 2.5......Seems to be pretty stable now......Gonna run Prime95 on it when i leave home tonight....When running a little over 1000 test in prime95, temps crawled to 46*C.......Right now Ilde is around 39*C........This okay here guys? I'm about to play some UT2k3......I also swapped video card drivers, and amazingly enough, that seemed to have helped some...
