fyi, if anyone is planning to get one, i'd suggest preordering it from monarch ASAP. If recent AMD product launches are any indication, Monarch will get the first chips, and the initial preorder prices will be good (they are all currently under MSRP, btw). Then, when they start to sell, the price will get jacked up for a month or so until other retailers can get volume shipments of the chips. That's exactly how the winchester launch worked. If you don't order now, prices won't be this good for a while. Of course, I'm not buying one until there are 2GHz dualies around $250ish, but that's just me.

I would order one now, but I haven't worked up the money yet. I hope the prices don't jack up further than they are now though - hopefully I won't get caught in that when I'm ready to order.

All current indications are that these are going to arrive on the website mentioned date, as more is known I'll keep you guys posted.
