Athlon X2 7850BE performance

I have an Athlon X2 7850BE running at stock 2.8GHz speeds coupled with an ATI 4850 running at stock speeds.

My 3dmark Vantage score is:

CPU score = 4463
GPU score = 6862
Overall score = 6049


My 3dmark06 score is:

SM2.0 score = 4962
SM3.0 score = 5790
CPU score = 2189
Overall score = 11030


Are these scores okay, or is my system underperforming somewhere?

Sounds about right my old Athlon X2 5400 and 4850 got about 10000k or so in 3dmark06.

I thought it was okay, but was just curious, especially since my brother's Phenom II 720 and Geforce 260(216) got 13K-something.

Interesting. I'll have to re-test once I get home, but I think my E2140 @ 3.2Ghz, and my stock VisionTek 4850 score about the same in 3DMark06. I was under the impression that my CPU was faster than yours, but perhaps the lack of cache hinders it.

Your cache does hinder it. Yours at 3.2 GHz, though, should be fairly close to his at 2.8 GHz. Your CPU score may be a bit higher or a bit lower (I'm going to guess a bit higher, 2200-2400).

My Athlon X2 @ 3.1 GHz gets a CPU score in 3DMark06 of 2203.
