Athlon Upgrade...1.0, 1.13, 1.2??? Steppings??? Need help, buying 2morrow!

I'm planning on purchasing an Athlon tomorrow. Yes, I am going to overclock the hell out of it. It will be paired w/ an Iwill KK266 so I want a 266Mhz bus. My question is: what default speed should I buy? Obviously I love saving money, so the 1.0gig would be nice as it's the cheapest! But I want to overclock like mad, too. Rephrased question: what Athlon default speed offers the best bang for my buck taking o/c possibilities into consideration?

I will also get to look at the CPU before I buy it so what steppings/codes should I look for?
